Water Treatment Plants (WTP)

Depending upon the end use of the water, we manufacturer & supply the following

• Media Filters
  Media Filters (DMF, MMF & PSF) are used to remove turbidity & suspended solids from the water. Media filters act as pretreatment for many advanced water treatment technologies such as Ultra Filtration, Reverse Osmosis or as post treatment for Sewage & Effluent treatment. Sand, gravels, pebbles & anthracite etc are used to trap the suspended solids from the water. Media filters are designed according to the type of water & flowrate. We manufacture & supply above filters in MS coated with epoxy paint, FRP lining or rubber lining, Stainless Steel or FRP vessels as required by the application
• Activated Carbon Filters (ACF)
  Activated Carbon Filters (ACF) are used to remove odour, colour, free chlorine etc & improve the taste of the water. It is usually employed after the media filter & used for water & waste water treatment applications. Activated carbon of suitable Iodine Value as per application is selected as the filter media. We manufacture & supply above filters in MS coated with epoxy paint, FRP lining or rubber lining, Stainless Steel or FRP vessels as required by the application.
• Softeners
  Softeners are used to remove the Calcium & Magnesium salts from the water. Calcium & Magnesium salts are present in all water resources & must be removed in order to make the water suitable for end use. These salts are responsible for the scaling of the tubes, pipes, vessels, cooling towers etc. which reduces the flow & heat transfer. Softeners replace calcium & magnesium ions with sodium ions thereby removing the hardness from water. Softeners are often used in industries, hospitals, residential complexes to make the water usable. Softeners are required for cooling towers, boilers, chillers, textile dying, hospitals & pharma applications.
• Ultra Filtration (UF) Units
  Ultra Filtration Plants are used to remove the suspended particles from the water which cannot be removed by the traditional technologies. UF removes the particles & microbes up to 0.01 micron size & can effectively remove most of the microbes. It is also used to reduce turbidity & silt present in the water. UF has various other applications in the areas of proteins separations, volatile organics separation, desalination of sea water, etc. It is often used as a pretreatment for Reverse Osmosis (RO) & as a tertiary treatment for the Sewage & Effluent treatment.
• Reverse Osmosis (RO)
  Water contains dissolved solids which impart various characteristics to the water. These dissolved solids are salts of various ions like Sodium, Magnesium, Calcium, Chlorides, Sulphates etc. In many applications, these salts should either be completely removed or reduced to make the water usable. Reverse Osmosis is used to remove these salts from the raw water using semi permeable membranes called Reverse Osmosis Membranes. Water is pressurized again these membranes where water passes through the membrane to form permeate stream & salts are rejected to form another stream concentrated with salts called a reject stream.
